My wife and I are in our late sixties and are not to steady when getting up from a sitting position or in the shower. A friend of mine suggested we try grab bars to help us. We purchased several different brands ( names with held) but with the same results-either pop off the wall or slide, which caused us additional pain and gave us no safety. We heard about the Bridge portable grab bars and bought them...6 in total. What a difference. They do not move. It is wonderful to be able to take showers together again and know we are safe.
